How to get here
Like most large urban areas, Medway’s traffic can get busy so please allow plenty of time to travel.
We recommend parking near the Rowan Williams building at the Medway Campus (what3words ///folds.pull.worked).
Parking on campus is limited, though there are plenty of car parks nearby. Please visit Medway Council’s website for full information on public car parks.
Chatham is the nearest station to our Medway Campus. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes from London and once at Chatham, it’s a 1.5 mile walk to the Campus. Taxis are readily available from outside Chatham rail station. Visit the National Rail website for full timetable and accessibility information.
Chatham’s bus station is located 1.2 miles south of Campus, near to the train station. Regular local services, including bus numbers 1, 2, 100, 116 and 170 (among others) run straight to the Campus from bus station stop B11, to St George’s Centre – opposite the Campus entrance.

Medway is served by National Cycle Network Route 1 and is an easy ride from the nearby towns of Rochester, Gillingham and Strood. We have plenty of cycle parking around the Campus which also benefits from CCTV and on-site security.

On the day
Please make sure you head to our main Medway site. We recommend parking near the Rowan Williams building at the Medway Campus (what3words ///folds.pull.worked).
Register
When you arrive, please register your attendance in the Rowan Williams building. To do this, you will need your QR code which can be found on your pre-event email. Don’t worry if you forget your code, we’ll ask you to complete a quick form.
Check your itinerary and download the programme
Check your subject itinerary before the event as each subject will have three sessions, the content of each session will be different.
You can download the event programme in advance but don't worry, we will have printed copies at the event itself.
Keeping safe
Please come prepared for the weather! Comfy shoes are a must as open days typically involve a lot of walking and standing.
