Your time at University should be enjoyable and rewarding – and we want to help make sure you’re not distracted from your studies by money worries. 

If you’re a current or prospective student, our Student Support and Wellbeing Advisers can give you advice, information and guidance on:

  • University Bursaries and Scholarships
    • What’s available, who is eligible and how to apply
  • University Access to Learning Fund
    • Discretionary loans and grants providing a safety net for UK (home) students experiencing unexpected financial hardship.

  • Budgeting and Money Management (including Student Banking)
    • How to make your student budget stretch as far as possible
    • Ideas for saving
    • Managing debt

During term time, you can drop in to see the Student Support and Wellbeing Advisers face to face, or contact them by telephone on 01227 922675. The advisers also respond to email studentwellbeing@canterbury.ac.uk throughout the year.
