You'll join a friendly community of almost 19,000 staff and students
Someone to turn to when somebody dies.
As ordained Anglican ministers, the chaplaincy team has always been on the frontline when it comes to death and bereavement, walking alongside the dying and their families as well as supporting those who have been bereaved.
In the context of the University we’re responsible for the care of students, staff and their families, of any faith, as they confront death and the loss of a loved one.
As experienced bereavement listeners we offer a safe space to explore your feelings and emotions surrounding death, as well as practical support.
You can get in touch by email, phone or mobile. Or you can simply turn up at the Chaplaincy Centre where there is normally someone to talk to.
The University also provides support through the Student Support and Wellbeing Advisers.
