Student Support and Wellbeing Advisers

Our specialist advisers are here should you want to talk through anything, be it related to personal, general wellbeing, financial, housing, or academic matters.

The advisers support students in making informed decisions through one to one conversations and refer to other services where appropriate.

We can let you know about the various support services available to you within the Student Support, Health and Wellbeing Department and make referrals as appropriate.

Some of the areas of support include:

  • General Wellbeing
  • Financial Support and Managing Your Money
  • Support for Care Leavers

We are also able to put you in touch with other support, by signposting to the Mental Wellbeing Team, who support students experiencing mental health and emotional difficulties, and the Student Disability Service. Our Advisers can also discuss support available within the wider University and about external services.

Our friendly service is free, impartial, non-judgemental and confidential.
