Prayer and faith support
For over 50 years the Chaplaincy has been praying daily for Canterbury Christ Church University, blessing the buildings and supporting the community as it goes about its daily life.
We believe in the power of prayer and are happy to pray and share our prayer times with others. The chapel and the chaplaincy centre both provide spaces for people to come in prayer and meditation and offer opportunities to pray with others, on your own or to have others to offer prayer for you.
As experienced Chaplains with decades of ministry between us we’re no strangers to the arena of faith and belief, whether that be in walking alongside others as they explore their own faith journeys, or offering advice from a Christian perspective.
As people with a distinct belief we recognise the value of sharing our faith with others and helping people make connections with their own faith tradition. We are, of course, always happy to discuss your own faith with you, and we have oversight of all the religious groups within the University as well maintaining the meditation rooms, quiet spaces and prayer rooms.
