Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)
The Higher Education Academy’s Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is the only sector-wide survey to gather insight from postgraduate research students about their learning and supervision experience.
It only takes about 10 minutes to complete, and the information you give remains confidential.
This survey is conducted every other year and will open again in 2019.
Why PRES matters?
The survey focuses on your experiences of: supervision, resources, research community, progress and assessment and skills and professional development. It also considers your motivations for taking your programme.
PRES results are used to benchmark our postgraduate provision against others in the sector, helping us target enhancement where it is most needed.
As a thank you for taking part there are incentives on offer.
How do I know if I am eligible to complete PRES?
You are eligible for PRES if you are a PhD, Doctoral or Research Masters student.
Can I opt out?
You can opt out at any time by contacting the Student Survey Unit directly. You will not receive any further emails or personalised messages but will be included in the response rate.
