Staff Association
Dear Colleagues
The Staff Association extends a warm welcome to all colleagues as part of the University community. Centred on the Staff Common Room (SCR) at North Holmes Road, and open to members across the campus network the Staff Association has been established since 2002. Membership is available to all staff with a monthly subscription of £8.00. This provides the benefits of a catering card (activated on your smart card) and also acts as a discount card for social events. The card entitles the member access to coffee/tea/chocolate between 8.00am and 5.00pm from the servery in the SCR, Touchdown Cafe, Augustine House Terrace Bar, Horizons (Broadstairs Campus) and Touchdown, Medway for up to a maximum of three occasions per day Monday to Friday. Money can also be added to the card to allow staff opportunity to purchase food, etc at a discount. (These cards are for personal use only and non transferable).
The Staff Association provides newspapers (delivered daily to the SCR North Holmes Road), sponsors art exhibitions which migrate across the campuses, makes a regular donation to a Tribal Village in India (which has enabled a safe water supply to be installed) and enables a variety of social occasions each year.
Membership of the Staff Association is open to all staff employed by the University as are the Staff Common Room and its facilities. So far, over 500 colleagues have joined. If you are new to the University please join us - the form is available here. Forms - Staff Association - Canterbury Christ Church University

We look forward to seeing you in the SCR and at the various social functions planned during the year.
