Biography

Martin J. Southam, BA (Canterbury), MSc (Canterbury), graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University in Sport Science and Social Science, from where he was later awarded an MSc in Sport & Exercise Science. He is Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Research Interests

Martin Southam is interested in the social psychology of sports, and the processes by which a group of individuals become a team. He provides sport psychology support to Canterbury Ladies Hockey Club.

• Year 2: Psychology of Sport Year
• Year 3: Applied Sport Psychology & the Psychology of Sport Coaching
