Community 

A key goal for Canterbury Christ Church University is to "make a major contribution to the intellectual, cultural, social and economic life of our local and wider communities", and the Community element of the work of the Department of Sport Science, Tourism and Leisure seeks to contribute to that goal.

To this end, the Department uses its experience and expertise to advise and assist local, regional and national groups and organisations. Among other things, members of the Department have advised and assisted, or are represented on, the following organisations:
