DIIGO

Diigo is a free social bookmarking, research, and knowledge sharing tool created to mimic the ease of taking notes while providing a network for sharing and discovering information. The name "Diigo" is an abbreviation for "Digest of Internet Information, Groups and Other stuff". The site was launched in 2006 and is known as a "social bookmarking" tool.

The Diigo website is home to a vibrant community of social bookmarkers who share their bookmarks and leave comments. Diigo allows users to add web pages to their bookmarking account either through the website itself or using a special Diigo browser add-on. The latter is usually the preferred method as you bookmark and highlight web pages on the fly.
