National Police Improvement Agency (NPIA) funded for a joint contribution (Wood, D.A. & Tong S.) on ‘Discretion and decision making’ towards NPIA Wiki website to the value of £3,324.

Chair of the HE Forum for Learning and Development in Policing
Organiser and Chair of the Conference, Towards Knowledge Led Policing and Security, held in Canterbury 10th-11th September 2008.

Previously External Examiner for the Police Studies Certificate at the University of Ulster.

Have previously participated within the Police Skills and Standards Organisation (PSSO) HE Forum and the Skills for Justice Foundation Degree Working Group and Skillsmark Working Group.
