Sophie Chatfield gained her first degree in Business Studies (specialising in I.T. and International Marketing) from London South Bank University. This was 4-year 'sandwich' degree and during her placement year she was a Project Manager at Reuters Ltd, London. When she completed her degree she worked as a Graduate Information Analyst at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, West Sussex. She then spent time working in I.T. at Prudential Insurance and Andersen Consulting in London.
Sophie then completed a Further Education Teaching Certificate and lectured in I.T. at Hadlow College, a faculty of the University of Greenwich. Her next role was a move into her first love of Marketing as a Marketing Manager for a firm of Stockbrokers.
Sophie joined Salomons in 2003 in the role of Consultancy Co-ordinator. In 2006, whilst working at Salomons, she completed the Professional Development Award in Supervisory Management at Canterbury Christ Church University. Since 2008, she has taken on the role of Research Assistant, supporting a variety of mental health related training courses within the Practice Consultancy & Development Programmes section of CASPD.
Sophie is also the CASPD representative on the Marketing Group.
