  NHS Research and Development Forum - information and discussion boards on all aspects of research in the NHS

Evidence Base

• Bandolier - evidence based healthcare information in the UK and worldwide for both healthcare professionals and consumers
• Cochrane database of research evidence - reviews etc.
• Centre for Research and Dissemination: you can look up reviews of interventions and other useful research-related material. It has a link to the Cochrane library
• National Research Register web site with searchable database to identify current ongoing funded research projects, and recently completed projects
• National Electronic Library for Health - a digital library for NHS staff, patients and the public
• Mental health data - a website bringing together various datasets produced by mental health services through different routes (e.g. policy, public health, statistics). Opportunity to employ secondary analysis on this data
