Mentoring
Philosophy and Values Underpinning the Work
Department staff who contribute to consultancy projects have a broad range of expertise and experience in the clinical psychology, social services and academic sectors. All staff have work commitments in the clinical and training sector and are therefore very aware of the latest day-to-day issues of practitioners and managers.
Providing a Mentor
Practice Consultancy staff are experienced in providing mentoring to practitioners, managers and senior executives within the Public Sector. The consultancy staff work within a broad range of public sector areas with the range of client groups (children, older adults, people with learning disabilities and adults within various service settings) and so bring a range of expertise to practice and personal development. Staff are experienced and knowledgeable about a variety of organisations, and the background training of staff includes process consultancy, organisational skills and clinical psychology. One of the key schemes on offer to organisations is the Employee Mentorship Scheme.
