An important aspect of the Centre’s work is to provide a research-enhanced offer to students across the University. With experience of numerous, large scale research projects, spear is ideally placed to support the university’s drive to enhance the student experience.
spear supports teaching modules across the Faculty and offers internships to students within the University. The internships provide final year undergraduate students the opportunity to work as fully integrated members of the spear team on bespoke projects aligned with spear’s research activities.
By providing opportunities for students to engage in ‘real-life’ research within a dynamic, successful research centre, spear directly supports the university’s research-enhanced offer and the provision of activities that add value to the curriculum. It also increases spear’s visibility and accessibility to staff and students, fostering collaboration and helping build research and knowledge exchange capacity across the University.
Internship opportunities to come and work with spear will be posted here. If you are interested in applying or would like to have a chat about it first please feel free to email (email@example.com).
