We offer an outstanding range of postgraduate programmes in the field of applied psychology. These are led by experienced practitioners and academics at our Salomons Campus near Tunbridge Wells.
Our Clinical Psychology doctorate integrates clinical, academic and research practice to achieve the highest quality of professional training. During your studies, you will be supported by a range of professional staff including clinical psychologists with extensive experience in a range of therapeutic modalities, applications and client groups. (Note, the deadline for self-funded applicants to our DClinPsy programme is: 9 January 2015).
We also offer a distinctive PhD in Professional Practice: Psychological Perspectives. This PhD has been structured so as to enable an individualised programme of study and research, based around a specific theme chosen within your area of professional practice.
As well as our popular doctoral programmes, we also offer a number of exciting postgraduate options. These include our BABCP-accredited postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This high intensity course offers a diverse programme of study and will give you the skills and competencies you need to practise as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Once you have completed the postgraduate diploma, you then have the option to ‘top up’ to a full Masters degree in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Building on the material covered in the diploma programme, this course will also help to prepare you for the many challenges which must be taken into account during all phases of research.
In addition to the above we also run a number of ‘short courses’ throughout the year. These range from workshops to two-day training events that overlap with our areas of research interest. You can find out more about these events by visiting our short courses page.
