Holly Milling is a Clinical Psychologist and joined the Salomons Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programme as a Clinical and Academic Tutor in 2015. Her role includes coordinating teaching on neuropsychology and clinical skills, supervising doctoral research projects and acting as line manager for a number of trainees.
Following her undergraduate degree in Psychology, Holly went on to complete a M.Sc in Health Psychology in 2002 and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2007. She then completed a post-graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is accredited as a CBT therapist with the BABCP. She is also a trained mindfulness teacher.
Clinically, Holly specialises in the field of Clinical Health Psychology. She has predominantly worked in the NHS within the following areas: oncology and palliative care, transplantation, chronic pain, spinal cord injury and burns. She also supervises High Intensity IAPT trainees within the NHS.
Her main therapeutic approaches include CBT, mindfulness based interventions and compassion focused therapy.
