AVA is an artist-led association of professional artists who are pleased to be exhibiting at the
Sidney Cooper Gallery. Previous AVA exhibitions have been shown throughout Kent and Europe. The
work in this exhibition by ten AVA members reflects the diversity and professionalism of the
group. Using a wide variety of media, the exhibition transcribes Italian artist Sandro
Botticelli’s ‘Primavera’ (1478)
Vikky Furse of the AVA group will be in the gallery on Sat 3 March from 11.30-1.30. She will present a slide show of her work, demonstrate a pastel portrait, and there will be an opportunity for visitors to experiment in pastel portraits.
