Married Matilda de Metz in 1795.
- Father of Philip Salomons and David Salomons and four other children .
- A London banker and broker, descended from a Dutch family who were Ashkenazi Jews from Central Europe .
- He owned a small estate at Frant, near Tunbridge Wells, as well as London property.
- He was the first of the family to acquire a coat of arms.
