David Reginald Salomons died in the First World War in the HMS Hythe disaster, and there are many items associated with him, the Kent Fortress Royal Engineers and the Hythe.

There are photographs of the Kent Fortress Royal Engineers, and papers connected with the KFRE, the Territorial Army and the Army Cadets. There are also several personal items and David Reginald Salomons' medals.

There are also a few other items associated with other members of the family, such as Vera Salomons, who was a nurse during the War.
