Applying for an MPhil/PhD scholarships 2010/11
We welcome applicants for full-time scholarship places on our MPhil/PhD programme
Full time scholarships provide an annual stipend of £11,500 p.a. with free tuition
Applications are invited across a range of subjects and themes within the following areas:

Education and Childhood Studies

Health & Social Care (the professional disciplines)

Humanities (including Applied Linguistics, English Literature and History)

Theology and Religious Studies
-
Creative and Cultural studies (including Music and Media)
-
Business & Management (including Finance)
-
Social & Applied Sciences (including Life Sciences, Psychology, Sport & Exercise Science and Tourism)
In order to apply for an MPhil or PhD scholarship you need to provide three things:
- A completed application form
- Two academic references which speak authoritatively about your potential as a researcher at this level
- A 1500 word Research Proposal
