External quality assurance

The University is subject to six-yearly external review by the Quality Assurance Agency, which ensures that the University meets national expectations for the quality of the student experience.

The University was successfully reviewed by the QAA through the Institutional Audit visit in March 2010, which confirmed the highest level of approval. The review report is available from the QAA website. The report confirmed that confidence can be placed in the soundness of the University's current and likely future management of the quality of its programmes and the academic standards of its awards.
