12 March 2001
Some of Thanet’s major businesses will be represented at a breakfast Business Forum at Thanet Campus at 8am on Thursday 15 March. Local companies will have the opportunity to find out how Thanet Campus can contribute to the success of their businesses, especially in the area of technology. The Thanet Campus Innovation Centre opens in December, and the firms at the Forum will also hear about plans for the Innovation Centre.
Roger Clayton, Campus Director, said, “We want to give local companies, especially those working in the technology sector, a chance to tell us what their education and training needs are. The breakfast forum is part of our continuing dialogue with business and enterprise in Thanet.”
Directors of 14 companies (including Hornby, Sericol, Interoute and Llano) have already requested places at the event. They will be joined by Anne Peeks, Chief Executive of Kent Maritime Chamber of Commerce, and Tom McGuckin, Head of Economic Development and Marketing for Thanet District Council. Representatives of the College’s Business School in Thanet and the Centre for Enterprise and Business Development will also be meeting the businessmen and women.
We would be most grateful if you can complete the faxback form and fax it to 01227 782632 in order to confirm your attendance at the business Breakfast Forum.
