Links with China University go from strength to strength

Dr Xu Zhao, Professor in the School of Computer Science at Xi'an Polytechnic University (XPU) in China, has visited Canterbury Christ Church in his role as Visiting Scholar, to strengthen the international partnership between both institutions.
Over the past few years, the School of Law, Criminal Justice and Computing has regularly visited XPU. Last month, Senior International Partnerships and Recruitment Officer, Yang Liu, met with XPU’s Director of International Office, Professor Chen, to discuss current developments and to explore further collaboration.
Reza Mousoli, Senior Director of Stakeholder Engagement in the School of Law, Criminal Justice and Computing, together with visiting scholars from XPU Business and Computer Schools, are now looking to create more opportunities to benefit both students and researchers, enhancing the collaboration further.
XPU is one of the largest higher education providers in central of China and its newly opened campus is situated near the historic Terracotta Army world heritage site.
