For many students, coming to university is more than just getting a degree - it’s an opportunity to meet new people, try new things and gain new skills.
At Christ Church, there are loads of exciting opportunities for you to get involved in, whatever your interests.
- Want to play sports for the University?
- Get green-fingered in the allotments
- Make a difference as a volunteer in the community
- Boost your CV with skills, workshops and work experience
- Help out at graduation
- Make your voice heard as a course rep
- Throw yourself into the arts and culture programme
There is something for everyone! If you can’t find an activity or society that you want to join, you can even set up your own through the Students' Union.
And if you don't beleive us find out from other students who share their expereince of getting involved in our Student Opportunities Directory.
If you'd like to see what else is available before you begin studying with us visit the Student Opportunities webpages and follow the CCCU Students Facebook Page and/or the CCCU Students Twitter account.
Recording your achievements
What you do outside of your degree can be just as valuable as your academic achievements; that’s why we’ve introduced the Christ Church Extra Award as a way to reward you for doing more and to provide you with access to workshops and experiences where you can hone your skills and learn new things.
The Christ Church Extra Award is noted on your final transcript - your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) – and in the graduation handbook, and celebrated at a special event at the end of the year.
