Borrowing from other campuses
As a member of Canterbury Christ Church University, you can use the library and learning resources at all of the University's campuses: Canterbury, Broadstairs and Salomons.
Borrowing
All library users may borrow items from all campuses. However, your limits are across the campuses, so (for example) students and staff may only borrow 6 7 day loan items in total, not 6 from each campus.
All library users may return items to any campus, items do not have to be returned to the campus that they were borrowed from.
The online catalogue can be used to search for items across all of the campuses, the catalogue will show which campus library holds copies of items.
Inter-site Loans
Items can be transferred between the Broadstairs, Canterbury and Salomons campuses by courier at request. If you wish to borrow an item from another campus and are unable to visit the campus yourself, ask a member of Library Services staff and this can be arranged for you. Please note, certain items such as Short Loans and Reference items may not be transferred between campuses.
Alternatively, you can place a request for an item from another campus through the library catalogue, your request can then be sent to the campus of your choice. For more information please see the Reservations page.
