Borrowing from other campuses
As a member of Canterbury Christ Church University, you are entitled to use the library and learning resources at any of the University's sites: Canterbury, Salomons and Broadstairs.
Borrowing
All library users may borrow items from all sites. However, your limits are across the sites, so (for example) students and staff may only borrow 6 seven-day loan items in total, not 6 from each site.
All sites have computer terminals dedicated to the library catalogue (ALEPH) which may be used to search for books and other material. The results screen indicates which sites hold the items.
Inter-site Loans
Items can be transferred between the Broadstairs, Canterbury and Salomons sites by courier at request. If you wish to borrow an item from another site and are unable to visit the site yourself, ask a member of Library Services staff and this can be arranged for you. Please note, certain items such as Short Loans may not be transferred between sites.
