Printing, photocopying and scanning
Printers
All open access PCs at Salomons (in the Hayloft library, Mansion library, Technology Suite and Forge Suite) are networked to a laser printer in the same area.
Photocopiers
Black and white photocopiers are available in both Salomons libraries. They are card-operated and the flexicards to operate them can be purchased from either library. The cards cost £1.00 and can then be loaded with photocopying credit, to the value of £1.00, £2.00 or £5.00 as required (copying is 5p per A4 side). The copiers have touch screen and key technology to help you find and use the various options available. Options include enlarging or reducing the size of the original, and double-sided copying. The copiers are designed for ease of use but if you do have any problems, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help you.
Scanners
Scanners are available in the Hayloft library and in the Technology Suite open access area in the Main House. Instructions for use are provided.
