St Augustine's Library
St Augustine's Library holds the University's theology collection. In addition there is another collection of some 23,000 books from the old St. Augustine's Missionary College. This includes subjects such as liturgy, missions, church history and biographies as well as theology.
St. Augustine's Library has two sites; Burgate House in the Cathedral precincts and a store in the Old Palace. On the catalogue, the location of the books is clearly indicated; for books held in Burgate house, the location is "Burgate library" ; for books in the store, the location is "Theodore education centre". Should you require books from the store we ask for twenty-four hours notice to retrieve them.
Items can be borrowed as normal by CCCU members. Special borrowing rights exist for Dean and Chapter staff and clergy within the Diocese and delegates attending International Study Centre Conferences .
