Ward Areas

These wards replicate the hospital environment.  Basic Life Support (BLS), Moving and Handling and other practical sessions are held in these rooms.  We also have many manikins, including SimMan.

Midwifery and Child Nursing

Future midwives and child nurses develop their confidence by using this specialised room. Their skills developed in practice are complemented with the availability of our simulation models (e.g. SimBaby). Different scenarios can be re-enacted ranging from caring for pregnant mothers in the antenatal period through to labour, the postnatal period, neonatal and child care.
