Radiography Suite/ Dark Room

The main purpose of the room is to practice radiographic technique, acquisition of computed radiography images, interpretation of images, clinical reporting and both TLD and ionisation chamber dosimetry. Students may now train in radiographic led venography, angiography and barium studies as well as intravenous injection.

Occupational Therapy Activities of Daily Living Flat

Daily Living Flat consists of:

  • Bedroom
    The bedroom is a replica of a typical bedroom in the community. Role play can involve use of different dressing, moving and supporting aids, commercially available to the patients in the community.
  • Bathroom area
    The assessment bathroom provides opportunity to consider the demands of self care activities and adaptations which may be utilised to enhance an individual's level of independence.
  • Kitchen area
    This well equipped area provides the opportunity to explore kitchen based activities through the use of role play.
