Canterbury Christ Church University skills laboratories are multidisciplinary educational facilities that are used to enhance (clinical) skills training for health and social care personnel.
Canterbury Christ Church University has two well equipped Skills Laboratories, located at Canterbury and Medway.
The Skills Laboratories provide opportunity to practice basic and advanced clinical techniques. It is ideal environment for the integration of theory and experiential learning, without fear of harming a real patient or fear of failure.
Audio-visual recording is available in the most rooms in the skills lab.
The laboratories are divided into specialist practice areas for skills development for relevant clinical courses.
