Medway Campus (Rowan Williams Court)
This is the newest of the skills laboratories which was purpose built and provides excellent facilities.
On offer to students and practitioners is a fully staged operating theatre, including operating table with attachments, overhead operating light, two anaesthetic machines (N2O & O2 gas outlets supplying Medical Air to drive the anaesthetic machine), ECG and SaO2, invasive / Non invasive blood pressure monitoring machinery, temperature monitor, Dinamap machine, two syringe drivers and a cardiac arrest trolley.
There is also a surgical scrub area with functional scrub sink and glow germ kit.
There is also a 10 bedded ward area (6 + 4), a midwifery room along with radiography and occupational therapy suites. Occupational therapy facilities include two well-equipped workshops, fully functioning activities of daily living flat including kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with associated specialist equipment, a vocational and occupational assessment room.
A fully functioning medical imaging suite, comprising x-ray facilities with both computed radiography and traditional processing, and dedicated imaging viewing facilities with large high resolution monitors.
