I was trained at Guy's Hospital and the Polytechnic of the South Bank in London qualifying in 1991. I gained a Master in Health Care Ethics at the University of Leeds and an MSc in Medical Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Before coming to Christ Church I was Senior Nurse Renal Outpatient Services and Research Projects Manager at the Renal Unit, King's College Hospital.
I specialise in renal nursing and research/evidence based practice, having been involved in over 30 projects prior to joining CCCU. I am involved in the teaching of renal care and research and evidence based practice from pre-registration through of post graduate studies. I am also a member of the team delivering a BSc(Hons) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am Vice Chair of the Faculty Research Ethics Committee. I am an experienced writer and review for many national and international journals
