Educational career:
Lioba came to Canterbury Christ Church University from a Practice Development role in July 2003. She has been involved in helping to develop the current IPL pre and post registration curricula, and teaches health and social care professional students. She is a member of the clinical science team. She links with ambulatory care areas at a local partner hospital establishing practice based activities to support students and mentors. Lioba is currently seconded 0.4 to the Centre for Research for Children, Families and Communities.
Key areas of interest:
Researching education, the family and communities in which they are embedded, involving service users, reflection and clinical supervision.
Research:
Lioba has recently completed a PhD exploring the learning of post-registration nurses, using an auto/biographical approach.
