I have many years experience in teaching nurses both as a clinical teacher and nurse lecturer in adult nursing.  I have worked at King's College London, City University and King Fayed Military Hospital in Saudi Arabia.  I returned to practice to work as a research nurse at Glaxo Wellcome, and then worked as a nurse specialist in both surgical and urological pre-assessment, followed by a period as a practice development nurse.

Back in the academic environment, I have worked at Christ Church University for five years in the Department of Nursing and Applied Clinical Studies, lecturing mainly in acute care nursing.  I ma a module leader for both pre and post registration courses, and whilst my background is in general surgery and urology, I have a particular interest in the effective management of pain.

I am Account Manager at Maidstone and Tunbridge NHS Trust being involved in mentorship updates and education forums.
