Staff profile

Jane has Masters Degree in Health Education and Health Promotion and teaches across the faculty on a range of related subjects. She has an interest in social exclusion which stems from many years of working in marginalised communities including Aboriginal settlements 200 miles west of Alice Springs, NT. Australia as a midwife/nurse and more locally in disadvantaged communities in Kent as a Health Visitor.

Recent research interests include:

Supporting Professional Development for General Practice Nurses- Development and Evaluation of a series of Action Learning Sets ( in collaboration with Kent and Medway Teaching PCT ( April 2006)
