Staff profile

I trained at Canterbury Christ Church qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1996 and as a Specialist Nurse Practitioner (General Practice Nursing) in 2000.  I have worked at Canterbury Christ Church University since July 2005, initially as a Lecturer Practitioner and since April 2006, as a full-time Lecturer.  I am currently undertaking the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (NMC)

I teach within the pre-qualification and post-registration interprofessional curricula and have a particular interest in Primary Care.  My most recent practice was as a General Practice Nurse and, prior to that, as a Community Nurse in a District Nursing Team.

I am Year 2 lead within the current interprofessional pre-registration programme and module leader of the Rehabilitation and Discharge module within the same programme.
