Staff profile

Since qualifying at the Royal London Hospital in 1983, I have gained extensive experience of critical care nursing, both in London and Kent.  Prior to starting at Christ Church University I was a senior sister in Critical Care outreach and before that a senior sister in Intensive care.

I started work at Christ Church University as a full-time lecturer in July 2006, but maintain my practice competency by working under an honorary contract in a critical care outreach team.

I am currently undertaking the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (NMC).

I teach within the pre-qualification program, but am also part of a team developing post registration programs for critical care.
