Comment from Head of Department, Carrie Jackson
"Our department is committed to the development of partnerships and strategic alliances that promote the opportunity to share creative academic practice, and engage in collaborative research, scholarship and knowledge transfer activities to transform the quality of our health care professional student experience and service delivery.
We strongly value the concept of transcultural practice and being able to share our worldviews in order to develop enhanced theoretical and practical understanding of Nursing issues around the globe. To this end we seek relationships with other institutions and health care providers that share our values and philosophy. Currently we have a number of partnerships that promote student and staff exchange, development of research capacity and collaborative writing, and sustainable community health development."
All these activities have led to the Department's enthusiastic and informed approach to engaging in the international nursing and allied health professional agenda.
