Welcome to the Department of Nursing and Applied Clinical Studies. Our department is a vibrant dynamic community of expert nurse academics and practitioners offering courses in Adult Nursing, Community Health, Health Visiting, School Nursing and applied clinical specialisms. We offer opportunities for nurses to plan their career pathway from a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner all the way to a Consultant Practitioner and Director of Nursing in hospital, community and social care settings.
We work in partnership with front line health care staff and the England Centre for Practice Development to develop effective transformational leaders capable of influencing the delivery of evidence informed person centred safe and effective compassionate care. We are committed to enhancing nursing knowledge, skills, research and scholarship to shape the workforce of the future.
This website provides you with detail about our courses, our research activities, our international collaborations and partnerships, and our staff profiles. We hope you find this site interesting and informative and that it helps you to decide that studying a future career in nursing at Canterbury Christ Church University is the right choice for you.
