Jiminy Wicket
The Dementia Services Development Centre South East is pleased to partner with Jiminy Wicket who use croquet to create connections and smiles with people living with dementia. For full details see: Through Hoops to Hope| which aims to educate and increase awareness of issues involved in dementia for healthcare professionals, carers and the general public.
Mind Dice
Mind Dice is a new product aimed to improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers. For full details see the Flyer|.
Alzheimer's Society Dementia Cafe
The Alzheimer's Society run a dementia cafe in Canterbury on the third Friday of every month between 10am & 12pm.
The aim is to provide people with dementia & their carers with a place to go to meet other people in their situation & also to relax together & learn more about available services.
As well as wanting to attract anyone who might benefit from attending, the cafe also welcomes volunteers who may want to help facilitate.
