Undergraduate Diplomas and Degrees

Each year over 500 students leave the Faculty with a Diploma or Degree in a health and social care discipline and many embark on a career in their chosen profession either within the UK or abroad.

Our popular range of undergraduate programmes includes BSc (Hons) Degree in Health Studies| and nine specialist areas of study which form our interprofessional learning programme:

Interprofessional Learning Programme

The interprofessional learning programme provides students with an academic qualification and equips them with the skills needed to enable professional registration.

The programme places strong emphasis on full professional development covering profession specific information and interprofessional learning whereby students share their learning to understand how different health and social care professions interact with one another.

Interprofessional learning and working is about developing professionals who:

  • Are confident in their own core skills and expertise;
  • Are fully aware of, and confident in, the skills and expertise of fellow health and social care professionals;
  • Conduct their own practice with other members of their working team, so as to continuously improve the health of their communities
