Paramedic Science

Paramedic Science is an exciting degree at Canterbury Christ Church University, Kent's leading centre for education of health and social care professionals. It is delivered on our Medway campus.

Paramedic Science| is one of nine pathways within the pre-registration Interprofessional Learning programme which means that you will spend some of your time studying alongside other professions such as Nursing, Social Work, Radiography and Occupational Therapy. At the end of your studies you will be eligible to apply for registration as a Paramedic with the Health Professions Council (HPC).

Academic work is complemented with placement activity in a variety of healthcare settings and the majority of your time will be spent with South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.

The Paramedic profession is going through significant change and our degree will equip you with the professional knowledge and skills that you will need to become a confident, safe and capable Paramedic in a variety of emergency and urgent care situations.

For qualified Paramedics we have a number of CPD updates and post graduate| programmes relevant to you.
