Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists work in partnership with people of all ages to enable them to do the everyday things that they want to do in their lives. We believe that “doing” is integral to well-being and quality of life.

At Canterbury Christ Church we offer several high quality occupational therapy programmes. If you are looking to choose a career, we offer a traditional three year undergraduate programme|. If you are already qualified we offer a flexible, modular postgraduate programme through the MSc in Advanced Practice| (Occupational Therapy). Occupational Therapy support staff may also undertake the Foundation Degree| in Occupational Therapy or the Foundation Degree Enabling Independence.

Whatever your choice of programme you will be supported by an enthusiastic team of academics who are registered occupational therapists with experience in a wide range of practice areas, and considerable academic expertise. Learning takes place in modern facilities using innovative teaching practices.

Further information on Occupational Therapy as a career can be found on the NHS website| and on the College of Occupational Therapists website|
