Fees and Booking

The conference will take place over three days (two nights) at the Ashford International Hotel.

A Full Board Conference package includes two night’s accommodation (23rd and 24th November), three days conference attendance, a drinks reception and the conference gala dinner. The hotel| has a gymnasium, swimming pool and spa facility available to guests on the full conference package.

Daily Delegate Rate
For delegates attending on a daily rate or making their own hotel booking,( an additional charge for the drinks reception and conference dinner will be made at point of registration).

Student Conference Rate
Delegates who wish to register for the Student Conference must complete the relevant student conference abstract and submit by the abstract deadline.

Please note that your registration is not confirmed until we have received your attendance payment. 

  • Please ensure that payments are made in British Pound Sterling (GBP) . It is important to check that you have paid the correct amount, especially if there are any conversion rates, as we can only confirm your place once we have received your payment in full. Please check with your bank if paying by credit card  about any administrative charges from your bank. Delegates are responsible for paying all bank administration costs/charges.

Booking Deadline
We would appreciate if delegates could make their conference booking by 28th September 2012.

Cancellations
A registration is confirmed once the payment has been received by the University. In the unlikely event of total or partial cancellation, a fee is payable to the University as follows:

  • 20% of full conference cost if you cancel before the 31st August 2012.
  • 50% of full conference cost if you cancel before the 30th September 2012.
  • 80% of full conference cost if cancel before the 31st October 2012.
  • 100% of full costs for non-attendance without notification

Information for presenters

Participants who are selected to present at the conference must pay and register by 28th September 2012.

The conference committee regrets that it is unable to meet any travel or subsistence experiences.

Although the official language of the conference is English we welcome participants with additional languages and we hope that the conference format will make many different kinds of contributions and collaborations possible.
