The Centre for Work-Based Learning and Continuing Development provides flexible, responsive and bespoke packages of learning to meet the continuing development needs of individuals, teams, services or organisations.
This may be through recognised programmes of learning, such as a Foundation Degree to support those who are not registered, a top-up degree for those who hold a Diploma or Foundation Degree, or an MSc for those who wish to advance their knowledge and skills. The Centre has experience of working with employers to deliver and validate in-house training either in a stand-alone format or as part of a programme of learning; facilitate in-house learning; deliver masterclasses and tailored learning. The focus of the Centre is the recognition of learning which occurs through work, at work and for work.
The Centre has a body of expertise in supporting work-based learners; developing and delivering work-based learning; working with employers to design flexible and bespoke learning packages including accredited and non-accredited short courses; facilitating and accrediting employer-led and employer delivered learning.
If you would like to know more about work-based learning and/or continuing development for yourself, team or organisation or you would like us to support in-house learning and continuing development please get in touch.
