Business presentation by Visiting Professor Tom Purves
Visiting Professor in Management Practice Tom Purves, former Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, will be giving his own personal perspective on Leadership, International Culture and Core Differentiators on Wednesday evening.
A universally respected business leader with over 30 years’ experience as a high profile senior manager in the motor industry, Tom retired from Rolls-Royce in 2010. In 2011 he became a Visiting Professor at Christ Church offering his insights and experience of leadership and entrepreneurship within a global and highly competitive industry to our students and staff.
The presentation on Wednesday 30 May will be of special interest to the local business community. Booking is not essential, but anyone interested in attending should contact Carol Clewlow at the University’s Research and Enterprise Development Centre.
The event will start at 7pm, The Old Session’s House (Og46). There will be a question and answer session with Tom after his presentation, followed by an informal networking reception.
