Well done everyone who graduated this month.
Last year I planned to attend my cousin’s graduation from this University at Canterbury Cathedral. Unfortunately I couldn’t attend so this year I volunteered to help out.
It was a lovely day and I highly recommend volunteering to my colleagues for the next round of graduations.
At the first ceremony a man sitting near me was eagerly waiting for his graduates name to be called. When his graduates name was read out he looked beyond proud, smiling and clapping. I wish I could have taken his photo, his face said everything.
I also got to meet the Cathedral cat who was most upset when he was made to leave the graduation ceremony.
To all our new students welcome to Canterbury Christ Church University, we hope that you will enjoy your time studying here.
We know that whilst it may be exciting, getting used to University life can also be difficult. As you settle in over the next few month don’t forget that if have any concerns Student Support Services, the Student Union and your tutors are here to support you.
