The Student Associate Scheme has been hugely beneficial to both the school and the students involved.
The students had a real insight into life in a school before committing themselves to a full time teacher training course.
It gave the school the opportunity to train middle managers as mentors of beginner teachers. We, as a school, benefited from the students enthusiasm, commitment and fresh ideas. They worked alongside us to provide a valuable and dynamic end of year for our pupils.
