Individual members and groups within the faculty can apply for financial assistance to meet their development needs. It is expected that the requests for funding support one of the staff development aims, such as;

Professional/Academic - To support the continued development of teaching, research or management/administration

Career/Credential - Education or training to obtain a qualification or prepare for a new role

Personal - Any experience which might facilitate personal development
The staff development team have a budget meeting each month with members from the Staff Development committee to consider applications for financial support. This process is confidential and seeks to provide both support and parity of opportunity. Colleagues are encouraged to contact the Staff Development team (Gh link) if they wish to discuss any type of activity that they feel is appropriate to their development.
